Spread Beam Lamp - 24 Volt Predator Technology Predator utilises a Xenon Gas Discharge (XGD) light source, a technology which is used for lighting sports stadiums because of the close to daylight colour rendering, powerful light output and low current draw. Hella Engineers have harnessed the power of Xenon Gas Discharge into a high-performance driving lamp, which translates into both light output and effective use of light never seen before. Power Consumption Advantage Visually, two 35 watt Predators outperform four 100 watt driving lights which equates to a reduction in current draw from 33.3 Amps down to 5.8 Amps. This can be vital in the modern vehicle with the increased demand on its electrical system and in rallye vehicles it means less wasted power. Predator XGD Mounting System Predator features a revolutionary mounting system, which provides a higher level of stability and easy adjustment. The lamp housing is mounted on a semicircular metal bracket and fixed with a centre bolt. Two knurled bolts hold the lamp in place, ensuring that nothing will shake the lamp from its fixed position. Freeform Reflector The reflectors have been designed as Freeform shapes rather than conventional parabolic. This Freeform reflector technology makes it possible to generate the required distribution of light directly to the reflector and achieve 50% less uncontrolled light dispersion. The result is the efficient use of the available light and extremely even distribution eliminating the usual dark patches or holes in the pattern. |
